General questions
How do I get to the venue?
The Darmstadtium is conveniently located, and Darmstadt’s central railway station can be reached with regional services as well as IC/ICE. Public transport from the Darmstadt central railway station to the congress centre is direct and takes less than 10 minutes. The “Schloss” and “Luisenplatz” stops are immediately next to darmstadtium.
Do you offer discount codes for the event?
We offer discount tickets for sponsors, high level confirmed speakers, or partner to the event. Should you belong to any of those categories and you didn’t receive any ticket, please feel free to reach out to the organizers at events@dssc.eu
I am coming by car, does the venue have parking facilities?
Yes, parking facilities are available at darmstadtium. However, please note that the parking ticket needs to be covered by the attendee and will not be paid by the organizers.
At what time does the event start and end?
A: The event schedule will be available on our website closer to the event date. Stay tuned for updates.
Will the event be recorded or live-streamed?
Data Spaces Symposium will not have any live-streamed. Will be recorded only the plenary meetings of the three days. Recording will be available on DSSC YouTube a few weeks after the event
Can I submit a proposal to present at the event?
No call to action for abstract submission was planned for this year. But this is not a rule of the Data Spaces Symposium. Next year this formula may be offered.

Registrations
What type of tickets do you have available?
We offer both full 3-day packages and single-day tickets. Details can be found on our registration page.
I bought a ticket for xxxx day, but I won’t be able to attend. Can I ask for a refund for a ticket?

I bought a ticket under my name, but I cannot attend the event. Can my colleague join instead of me?
Tickets are non-transferrable. The name on the ticket must match the attendee’s identification. Changes or transfers are not permitted.
I bought a ticket for the 12th of March for the Market-X/Dataweek/Dach/Discovery Day – can I attend any other concurring event taking place during that same day?
Yes, attendees holding a ticket for the 12th of March will be able to attendee any event in the venue. The event calendar is available on the website.
Social Events
I want to attend the evening event on the 13th of March, but I saw that there are no more spots available, how can I sign up?
If spots are no longer available, unfortunately, we have reached capacity for the evening event.
I signed up for the evening dinner on the 13th of March, but I won’t be able to attend, can I have a refund?
There is no refund policy for the evening dinner on the 13th of March. Please ensure your availability before booking.
