Data Spaces Symposium 2027: Ticket Terms and Conditions

  1. Ticket Types:
    a. Combo Ticket: Grants access to both event days (9 and 10 March 2027).
    b. Single-Day Ticket: Grants access to one specific day (either 9 or 10 March 2027). A Single-Day Ticket does not grant access to the other day.
  1. Non-Transferability
Tickets are strictly personal and non-transferable. Only the individual named on the ticket will be granted access to the event.
  1. Name Changes and Corrections
The name on a ticket may not be changed for the purpose of transferring the ticket to another person. Obvious spelling or data-entry errors made during the purchase process may be corrected upon request before the Event, subject to reasonable identity verification. The Organisers may refuse a requested correction if it would in substance amount to a transfer of the ticket.
  1. Refunds and Attendee Cancellations
Tickets are non-refundable where the attendee cancels or does not attend the Event, except where a correction is permitted under Section 3, a refund is due under Section 5, or a refund is otherwise required by applicable law.
  1. Event Changes, Cancellation and Force Majeure
The Organisers may, where reasonably necessary, change the programme, speakers, venue, date or format of the Event, including as a result of force majeure circumstances beyond their reasonable control (such as natural disasters, strikes, governmental restrictions or pandemics). If the Event is rescheduled or transitioned to a virtual format, the Organisers will inform ticket holders of the arrangements applicable to their tickets. If the Event is cancelled and is not rescheduled or otherwise replaced, the ticket price will be refunded. These arrangements are without prejudice to any mandatory rights under applicable law. The Organisers are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other ancillary costs incurred by attendees, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
  1. Evening Events
Tickets for evening events associated with the Symposium are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where the relevant evening event is cancelled by the Organisers or where a refund is required by applicable law.
  1. Proof of Identity
Attendees must present a valid ticket and a government-issued photo ID that matches the name on the ticket to gain entry.
  1. Proof of Payment
Access to the Event is contingent upon full payment of the applicable ticket price having been received before the Event. Attendees are not required to present separate proof of payment where payment can be verified in the registration system; however, the Organisers may request reasonable evidence of payment if the payment status cannot otherwise be verified.
  1. Personal Belongings
The organisers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings during the event. Attendees are advised to keep their belongings secure at all times.
  1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing or using a ticket, the buyer and attendee agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. Any final-sale or non-refund provision in these Terms is subject to the exceptions expressly set out herein and to any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
